For July 2026, USCIS will continue to use Dates for Filing for family-sponsored preference categories and Final Action Dates for all employment-based preference categories.

Family-based categories. F2A remains current for Dates for Filing, while the Final Action Date remains unchanged at January 1, 2025. The F2B category saw continued forward movement, with the Dates for Filing advancing from March 22, 2018, to June 8, 2018, and the Final Action Date moving from September 22, 2017, to November 22, 2017.

Diversity Visa program. The cutoff number for Europe increased from 23,000 for July to 29,000 for August, reflecting continued visa availability.

Employment-based categories. EB-2 remains current for both Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing. EB-3 advanced, with the Final Action Date moving from June 1, 2024, to August 1, 2024, while Dates for Filing remain current. The Other Workers category also moved forward, with the Final Action Date advancing from February 1, 2022, to March 1, 2022, while the Dates for Filing remain unchanged at August 1, 2022.

Overall, the July Visa Bulletin reflects continued positive movement in several family- and employment-based categories, providing additional filing and immigrant visa opportunities for eligible applicants.
