For family-sponsored filings, the Dates for Filing Chart will be used, while the Final Action Dates Chart will apply to employment-based preference filings. In the family-sponsored categories, the Dates for Filing for the F2A category have advanced by one month, moving from March 1, 2025 to April 1, 2025. The Final Action Dates for F2A remain unchanged at September 1, 2022. For the F2B category, both the Dates for Filing (January 1, 2017) and Final Action Dates (October 15, 2016) remain the same. For Diversity Visa applicants, the Europe cutoff has increased from 22,000 to 23,000 for September. In the employment-based categories, the EB2 Final Action Date has retrogressed, shifting from October 15, 2023 to September 1, 2023, while the Dates for Filing remain at November 15, 2023. The EB3 category saw forward movement in the Dates for Filing, advancing from March 1, 2023 to May 1, 2023. However, the Final Action Date for EB3 remains unchanged at April 1, 2023. For the Other Workers category, both the Dates for Filing (July 22, 2021) and Final Action Dates (July 8, 2021) stayed the same.
