The May Visa Bulletin has been released, introducing several updates compared to the previous month. USCIS has announced that for May 2025, applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart, while those in employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart. According to the May 2025 Visa Bulletin, the Dates for Filing for the Second Preference (F2A) category has moved from October 15, 2024, to February 1, 2025, reflecting a four-month advancement. For the F2B category, the Dates for Filing remain unchanged at January 1, 2017. For employment-based filings, most categories remained the same. The EB2 Final Action Date is still June 22, 2023. In the EB3 category, the Final Action Date remains January 1, 2023. Additionally, the Final Action Date for Other Workers continues to be May 22, 2021. This month's Visa Bulletin also confirms that the Diversity Immigrant category for Europe remains at 17,500 for June.
