As we previously shared a USCIS update regarding Diversity Visa (DV) cases, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) has now issued an additional announcement affecting DV Lottery applications processed through U.S. consulates.
As of December 23, 2025, the Department of State has paused all Diversity Visa issuances, effective immediately.
