Under this update, the fee for Form I-90 (Application to Replace a Green Card) will increase from $455 to $470 for online filings and from $495 to $520 for paper filings. The Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization) fee will rise from $760 to $795 for online filings, and from $820 to $855 for paper filings. Other forms seeing increases include the I-765, I-131, and select biometric and background check-related fees. These adjustments reflect standard annual inflation and are separate from the larger H.R. 1 fee changes taking effect in 2025.

The new fees will apply to all applications postmarked on or after the effective date listed in the Federal Register, and any filings submitted with outdated fee amounts will be rejected. USCIS notes that these increases are necessary to keep up with operational costs and ensure continued processing capacity. Applicants planning to file early in 2026 should review the updated fee chart carefully and budget for the new amounts to avoid delays or rejections.
