On April 8, 2025, the IRS and ICE finalized an agreement allowing ICE to request tax information for individuals they plan to remove from the U.S. Although no data has been shared yet, this development has sparked major privacy concerns, especially among undocumented immigrants. Individuals with current legal status or pending immigration applications are not impacted at this time. Immigration advocates are closely monitoring the situation for further developments.
